Dr. Knight has a long and distinguished career in Physical Medicine and rehabilitation. His career in rehabilitation medicine started in 1987 as a Physical Therapist, he then went on to receive his Medical Degree in 1993 from State University of New York at Buffalo, School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He received his training in Internal Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Temple University in Philadelphia. Dr. Knight is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Knight obtained his MBA in 2006 from the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business.
Dr. Knight founded Integrative RehabMedicine in 2007 with a focus of providing medical management and consultative services to sub-acute rehabilitation centers and assisted living facilities. In 2008 Integrative spun of Medlux Rehabilitation and Wellness whose mission to provide rehabilitation services that incorporate principles from western allopathic medicine, eastern medicine, complementary and alternative medicine, and psychology into therapeutic solutions.
Prior to founding Integrated RehabMedicine Dr. Knight was employed by Advanced Physicians, S.C., a network of rehabilitation clinics in western suburbs of Chicago, as Executive Vice President for Operations and Chief Medical Officer. Preceding Advance Physicians, S.C. Dr. Knight was employed by the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago where he served as the Administrative Medical Director of RIC’s partnership with the Alexian Brothers Hospital Network. In that capacity, Dr. Knight directed a network of physical medicine services that included a 66-bed rehabilitation hospital, two out patient centers, a day rehabilitation center and rehabilitation services at two acute care hospitals. Prior to his work at Alexian Brothers Dr. Knight was the Medical Director for Inpatient Rehabilitation for RIC’s partnership with Loyola University Hospital in Maywood, Illinois.
Dr. Knight’s academic appointments included being an instructor at Harvard Medical School’s Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in Cambridge, Massachusetts from 1998 to 2003, and being an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University’s School of Medicine in Chicago from 2003 to2006.
Dr. Knight belongs to the following professional societies: American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Association of Academic Physiatrists, American Congress of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and International Society of Physical and Rehabilitative Medicine.
Dr. Siddiqui comes from a solid background of Internal Medicine (Rush Westlake Hospital) and Geriatric Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, Hines VA in Maywood, IL and is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. Certified Medical Director (AMDA), and a member of the American College of Physicians
Dr. Siddiqui is on staff at Adventist Glen Oaks Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital and coordinates patient care through IPC Hospitalists at Central DuPage Hospital.
